Meet the Team
We are qualified, experienced teachers with a current, working knowledge of classroom requirements, putting us in a perfect position to form a bridge between schools, curriculums, and the rail industry.
Emilie Dawson
Learning Development Manager
Emilie graduated with a first-class honours’ degree in Creative Writing with Psychology before deciding to pursue a career in education.
Emilie worked in education for 13 years, qualifying as a secondary English teacher before becoming a SENCo and gaining the National Award for SEN Coordination. She works as an English examiner for one of the main exam boards, and as a consultant for a popular educational publisher.
Emilie’s passion is inclusion and the belief that every child should have access to a high-quality education that strives to remove barriers, rather than lowering expectations.
Imogen Sackett
Learning Officer
Imogen graduated from university with a degree in international development, before gaining a PGCE in Secondary Geography and beginning her career as a teacher.
Imogen has over 8 years experience in teaching, and is excited to now take on a role which actively supports teachers in accessing learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
Imogen’s passion is creating exciting, creative, innovative resources that allow for a dynamic learning experience whilst delivering the core objectives that students need to be successful in external examinations and next steps.
Galena Ivanova
Administrative Assistant
Galena left Bulgaria four years ago to study at the University of West England and is now pursuing her interest in Migration Law by completing a Master’s in Human Rights Law at Bristol University.
Galena is highly organised – she manages all administrative aspects of the Platform scheme with precision and accuracy; she also just really loves a spreadsheet.
Galena’s passion is education, her love of which is motivating her through her current studies and was a driving factor in her wanting to join an organisation that delivered educational content. Her love of learning means she spends a lot of time engaging with new things – books, recipes, places and ideas.
